Gallery Wall - Part 2

Hello again!

Last time we left off my gallery wall-to-be looked like this:

I wasn't happy with how the upper left-hand corner was looking so I switched things around and ended up with this:

It's a bit more symmetrical without being too matchy-matchy, which is what I was going for this time!  And here's how the frames look after I hung them!

I'm loving it!!  Let's take a closer look!

As you can see, I don't have many frames filled just yet!  I'm working on it - I will post again once they are all filled.

My favorite part about the gallery wall is the black Target frame I jazzed up with some hardware and hammered nailheads!

What do you think?  Do you usually collect your art first or pick out your frames first?

Thanks for looking!
Emily

  2. It is turning it great! No surprise there! I collect art first since you asked. But I think either way works because it always ends up being personally meaningful to the creator.

    1. Thank you :) I think I have it backwards - my sister always buys the frame based on the art, too!

  3. This looks great! I know I should collect the art first, and then make the gallery wall, but I definitely get my frames first. Whoooops! ;)

And that dressed up frame is GORGEOUS! :)
